Line 6 students create Wearable Arts

Line 6 students create Wearable Arts

Year 9 students show off their creative talent

Our line 6 students have been busy creating and designing in preparation for the Wearable Arts Show, "Upside Down, Inside Out".  Students had to design a wearable art that made a statement. They also needed to incorporate an old skill that our Nan's may have used, and include upcycled/recycled materials.

We had creations that ranged in theme from Black Lives Matter, to promoting the bread tags for wheelchair scheme, to pollution, to looking after Papa Tuanuku, to stopping Asian hate crimes.  We are really looking forward to seeing what will be created this term!
