The National Certificates of Education Achievement (NCEA) are the qualification Year 11, Year 12, and Year 13 students are working towards at Taupo-nui-a Tia College.  NCEA is recognised by employers, and used for selection by universities and polytechnics, both in New Zealand and overseas.  Currently, the New Zealand education system is going through some major changes.  We have a new curriculum and NCEA refresh taking place.  From 2024, the new look Level 1 was implemented.  Level 2 will be in place for 2027 and Level 3, 2028.
