Over the last few weeks, students at Alternative Education have been developing their persuasive writing skills. They were given the task to design a donut and persuade the local donut shop to choose their donut as next month's 'feature' donut. It was so great to be able to get out in the community and meet with Amanda at the Doughnut Box. She judged the students' donuts and their persuasive writing skills, as well as spoke about what skills and characteristics she looks for when employing staff.
