Yesterday was all about experiencing the Tongariro Alpine Crossing in preparation for an investigation into the overcrowding issue. Nothing beats first hand experience! Students walked Maungatepopo Valley into Soda Springs - with a few of them braving the Devils staircase and trudging up to the saddle. Once again, fabulous weather and scenery for students to experience geography in action!
