Nui students head out with Kids Greening Taupo

Our Year 12 Homeroom students are working with Sian and Kids Greening Taupo to plant and weed out Motutahae.

These students are committed to heading out and working for one period per week to make a difference on the island. So far, they have learned to prepare a site for planting, weeded the banks of pests such as broom and blackberry, and planted harakeke.  We are thrilled with their efforts so far and can't wait to see what a difference it will make in our local environment.
