Nui students compete in the North Island Rowing Champs
Nui students have finished up their rowing season at the North Island Secondary School Champs last weekend. The team put in a strong effort racing at Lake Karapiro, and ended their season with some great results. Congrats to Izaak Manders (COX), Matthew Stokes, Kees Manders, Kylie Bathe, Evelyn Hall, Annie Donald, Katie Donald and Zoe Handford.
Results:
Izaak Manders (Coxian), Kylie Bathe, Evelyn Hall, Zoe Handford, Katie Donald came 6th in the A final in the Girls Under 18 quad.
Annie Donald (in a combination with three other Tauhara rowers) came 5th in the Girls Under 16 B final.
Zoe Handford and Katie Donald came 6th in the B final for the Girls Under 18 double.
Katie Donald came 3rd in the B final for the Girls Under 18 single.
