PE class work with local Intermediate students

Year 12 PE class run activities with students from Taupo Intermediate

It was a great day for our Year 12 Physical Education students, who were out in the community, working closely with the Taupo Intermediate Class leaders.

As part of an NCEA assessment, the Year 12 class had to lead a range of activities to help the Intermediate students develop as a group. This was to guide them so that they can function effectively at their up-and-coming 'Leadership Camp.' The activities were specifically chosen by the College students to focus the Intermediate students to work together to achieve completion.

It's safe to say there was lots of learning happening for everyone involved. Thanks to Taupo Intermediate for their hospitality.
