Students from Taupo-nui-a-Tia College achieve success in the Across-the-Lake open water swim.

On Saturday, 29th February, we had 10 students compete in the Across-the-Lake open water swim. We are proud to report that all of our swimmers finished in the top 10 places in their respective swimming categories and we had a few students who really stood out for their achievements on the day. Jacob Hume placed 1st in the junior male 1km event, Rhiannon Scurr placed 2nd in the junior female 1km event and Gabe Lindsay placed 3rd for the junior male 4.2km event. A fantastic effort!
