Coaches and Parents Sport Information Evenings

Parents. Coaches. This one’s for you!

If you’re supporting young people in sport, these two upcoming evenings in Taupō will spark thinking and conversation around how we help athletes enjoy sport, stay engaged, and thrive long term.

Coach by Design – with Dr Craig Harrison
What if better coaching wasn’t about more drills or louder voices, but better environments?
Craig will challenge how you think about coaching and show how session design shapes confidence, motivation and learning. A powerful session for anyone working with young people in sport.
Monday 11 May | 6:30–8:00pm Taupō Events Centre

Puberty, the menstrual cycle, energy availability, these aren’t “extras”, they’re part of the job.
Emily will share practical, science‑backed ways to better support female athletes through adolescence, with a strong focus on wellbeing, confidence and long‑term development.
