Year 13 Classics class sketch to gain perspective

Students from classical studies took their knowledge outside on Friday. Their task was to sketch the Ara Pacis (the relief sculpture they are analysing), as well as creating mini models. This gave them some appreciation of how big it is and where the different artworks are placed.  This was a very cool, hands-on lesson to help students gain a deeper appreciation for the craft behind the sculpture.
