Small changes to current bus routes
Taupo Schools’ Transport Network Group wishes to advise parents of travelling students that there will be a new transport provider carrying students to our schools in 2022.
Tranzit NZ purchased Nimons at the end of 2021. There will be no changes to the look of the Nimon buses, all drivers and contacts remain in place.
Most of our bus routes will remain the same, with some minor changes within these runs.
The following are the new Bus Routes for 2022
NEW BUS 1 – Mapara Road to town. Uplift all TNT along Mapara Rd . Uplift all Mapara Rd past Tukairangi Rd
NEW BUS 2 – Kinloch – Whangamata Road – Salesyard – Tauhara College, Taupo Intermediate and all Primary students. Picks up Wairakei surplus at Sales yard. Onto Wairakei - TNT.
Tirohanga Route – starts at the Sale yard only Tirohanga School run.
Napier Road – starts by going up Taharua Road (10.5 kms one way)
The Taupo Network Group request your patience during the first few days of operations. Please listen to the drivers and follow their instructions. All routes will be covered.

A reminder that all students aged 12 and over are required to wear a face mask on school buses.
