BOP Hockey News

Over the holidays, our BOP Boys and Girls played some great hockey and had some good learning experiences.

The BOP Boys Team, with Hamish Cameron, Thomas Fox, Douglas McIvor, and Kasper Lenoir placed 11th overall. Unfortunately, luck was not on their side within the first game. After leading 3-0 in the first half, two players got injured at the same time and they couldn't hold the lead, losing 4-3 against South Canterbury. The hockey the boys were playing was strong and they still had a great experience.

The BOP Girls Team, with Georgia Fox, Esmee Morgan, Amy Barber, and Emma Angland, had a tough first few days in the week but picked it up very nicely at the end, winning their last two games. Overall, they placed 17th and can be really proud of their efforts on the turf.

Both weeks were full of great experiences and learning moments. Well done, everyone for your hard mahi and dedication to the sport.
