The Girls Rugby team competed in the BOP 7s tournament in Paengaroa on Tuesday.  The girls played in the U19 grade with a team consisting of a split of seniors and juniors.  Three weeks into training for the season and the girls did great for their first hit out.  The focus was on the basics, learning the game, and getting used to contact sport.  This was the first time many of our girls have played and they loved it! There is another 7s tournament at the end of the month, so they will be training hard and getting their fitness levels up.
