On Tuesday this week we had 8 students head to Kawerau to compete in the Secondary Schools JI Manihera Golf Championships.
An amazing congratulations to Levi Prince who came out on top with a 1 under par 70 in the gross competition.
Levi is a dedicated golfer who spends many many hours on his craft. So, to achieve this is very well deserved.
Natasha Birchall achieved 2nd female overall
There were some other amazing results also, given it was a field of 96 strong golfers who all play frequently off low handicaps.
Noah Morgan came home in 5th
Chad Atkinson in 11th
Congratulations also to Dom Weston, Martina Wilson Maldonado and Wiremu Barnett
The players were split into two teams competing in a field of 26 teams:
Team Eagles were 6th overall
Team Albatrosses were 12th
