The Junior National Motocross Championships were recently held and two of our talented students were there competing at the front of their fields. Maz Parkes and Felix Hathaway.
Felix had an amazing event with outstanding results, achieving an amazing 3rd place overall in in the 85cc class.
He was also 10th overall in the 125cc class.
Maz was riding high after winning his first race and was in a good position during the second. But as he was about to make the pass to go into first he had a mechanical failure so was unable to finish. He was then in the lead on his practice bike and had a mechanical again so he could not finish. This also mean't he wasn't able to compete in the rest of the competition…really bad luck!
And so, that's sport, the highs and the lows. But, we love it.
