Here are a few updates from our teams out there competing!
Volleyball
Girls - had a great Wednesday winning both their games after a challenging week.
Boys - Successfully made the 3rd division up from the 5th division last year. Had a nailbiter 2-1 win on Wednesday night making a bid for the top 10.
Waka Ama - sadly the weather has put a stop to any further racing but congrats to Nick Ross on his win. The rest of the results are still to come.
Basketball
The Senior Prems finished an amazing 4th place in the Naional Qualifiers Regional competition. Sadly just missing a qualification spot as these go to the top 3 :(
They were voted the Team of the Tournament - WOW how amazing
The 2nd team competing in the open grade finished 9th.
Triathlon has been downgraded to an aquathlon as they are in weather stricken Tauranga.
Rowing - still stunning weather in Twizel
Adah Williams finished 2nd in the C Final in the Under 18 single sculls
Nico Febery and Zach Bidwell won their C Final in their Under 17 double sculls. Also competing in the Under 18 event, they are through to the B final.
The sailors had a great weekend winning half of their races and now look to Nationals over the school holidays
Good luck to Zene Erasmus competing in the Javelin at the NISS Athletics Championships over the weekend.
Also, to the mountain bikers competing in Wellington on Sunday.
