Expectations for Week 3

Expectations for Week 3

As a result of our continued school closure for the remainder of this week, and for the following week ending February 20th (to be reviewed on Wednesday 18th February) all students will be expected to participate and engage in online learning from Monday 16th. All students have been sent a set of Guidelines outlining the expectations. Please see facebook for further information. Students will be expected to attend a 30 minute 'google meet' (a face to face interaction with the teacher and their classmates) then continue with their online work for the duration of their lesson. The only exception will be for the year 9 Head Start programme - no lessons will take place for this programme until students return. The timetable will operate as a normal school day and attendance will be mandatory. All teachers will be completing attendance. The students will be required to attend the “google meet” in order to be marked present. If your child will be absent from their online class (unwell or appointments), please report absences as per normal (or contact the attendance officer - [email protected]). Please encourage your child to engage with the online learning expectation. We realise this is hard, but your support is much appreciated.
