We can't thank these two organisations enough for enabling our volleyball players to look fantastic and keep costs to an amount families can afford.
As a result everyone gets the opportunity to be part of the team and play the game they love.
RetroGlaze Network LP (www.retroglaze.co.nz) is a systems-as-a-service business operating in the double glazing and window replacement space, based here in Taupo. Locally, The Double Glazing Company is its partner here in the Taupo region. RetroGlaze Network's owners, Bruce & Megan Mason, have been supporters of volleyball here in Taupo for a number of years. In particular, this is seen through Bruce's involvement in boys volleyball at Taupo Nui a Tia College. TNT's volleyball program continues to grow and benefit from this involvement.
In 2025, RetroGlaze Network has contributed to Taupo-nui-a-Tia College volleyball through:
- sponsoring polos for all volleyball coaches as an acknowledgement of their contribution (this year we had 8 coaches at Taupo-nui-a-Tia College)
- contributing to the cost of warm-up tops for the boys junior A volleyball team that competed at North Island Junior Volleyball Champs in November.
- contributing to the increased costs of accommodation for the teams competing at North Island Junior Volleyball Champs due to unforeseen changes.
Taupo Volleyball Club is a local sports club, focused on volleyball here in Taupo. Over the years, a number of members from the club have contributed to Taupo-nui-a-Tia College in kind, by coaching school volleyball teams at junior and senior levels. Of note, is Darren Tiplady in coaching TNT girls volleyball teams to achieve significant results on the regional and national stage. This has led to a number of players representing New Zealand in national and age-group teams.
In 2025, Taupo Volleyball Club has contributed to Taupo Nui a Tia College volleyball through:
- contributing to the increased costs of accommodation for the teams competing at North Island Junior Volleyball Champs due to unforeseen changes.
