To wrap up their 2025 season, TNT Junior A netball team attended the 2 day Rotorua Kurangaituku Netball Tournament last weekend. Celebrating their 90th year tournament anniversary it was a busy and action packed atmosphere at the courts.
The first day saw the girls with an impressive 5 out of 5 consecutive wins which were played in crazy winds and heavy rain.
Day 2 was into final crossovers and the team secured 2 out of 3 wins. This one loss pushed the team out of the finals round, but winning 7 out of their 8 games over the weekend was a fantastic effort and result.
Overall, the team placed 3rd equal out of 19 teams in their division.
The team incorporated the weekend away with their end of year breakup which included staying over in Rotorua as a team, and enjoying a well deserved night out at Skyline Gondola, Luge & Restaurant.
