We sent a team of year 13 students to the New Zealand Secondary School Championships and they had a amazing week away!
The mixed team consisted of Beau Condon, Sascha Percival-Moore, Thomas Ramsay, Keidyn Yamagishi
The first round 2nd Division Boys A group was a tough pool of losses. But the second round matches were much closer in Group O, and the team nearly won all their games. In the end they lost to Tawa by 1 point. It made for very exciting playing and watching in the final game set.
Sascha was the team's most nominated person for sportpersonship in this grouping by the other teams.
The students all met lots of lovely people and made some new friends. They were very big days, starting at 10.30am and playing some nights until 9.30pm with breaks in between.
