Marae Visit
Our hikoi to Nukuhau Marae was a special opportunity to connect with Mana Whenua and strengthen our sense of whanaungatanga. We were welcomed onto the marae through the pōwhiri process, learning the importance of tikanga and manaakitanga. The experience gave us a deeper understanding of the stories, values, and traditions held within Nukuhau Marae, and reminded us of the importance of respect, unity, and kotahitanga.
It was a meaningful journey that enriched our knowledge and built lasting connections.
