Last Monday we sent 3 teams away to compete at the Central Bay of Plenty Badminton qualifier in Rotorua.
2 boys teams and 1 girls team travelled to compete. For some of these students this was their first official tournament and they all did themselves proud.
The Y13 boys team finished third in Division One
The Y11 boys team worked hard and grew with every game they played
The girls team finished 3rd also. They were in Division two but this was a joint Division one and two competition so well done to them.
We now wait to see if they have qualified to compete at the Bay of Plenty finals in August. Fingers crossed!
