On Friday a group of 21 year 11-13 students attended the Girls in Hi-Vis event run by Connexis and Contact Energy.
The girls had a great day exploring Wairakei and Te Mihi Geothermal power stations, testing the waters for sulfur before it is returned to the river, and listening to other women in the industry talk about their experiences. A fantastic opportunity for our girls who are thinking about careers in infrastructure or the trades.
