NZSS Triathlon - outstanding individual results and the top Co-Ed School in the country

All 9 students reach the podium at NZSS Triathlon Championships

Nine students travelled all the way to Glendhu Bay in Wanaka to take on the SS National Triathlon Champs during Summer Tournament Week, and all 9 came home with a medal (or 4!)  Absolutely fantastic results! We are super proud of their dedication and efforts to gain these amazing achievements.  A great way to finish the triathlon season!

And on top of that, Taupo nui-a-Tia College also won the Co-Ed Schools Trophy for the most points over the two days of racing. This is an amazing achievement, as for the longest time this trophy has been repeatedly won by the same Auckland school each year. Last year at Nationals, Triathlon New Zealand laid down the challenge to the rest of the country to step up and provide a challenge - Taupo-nui-a-Tia College have certainly shown the rest of the country what we are capable of!
