Mikayla recently competed with outstanding results at the South Waikato Schools MX Challenge. She was entered in the Open Women's Grade (12-19-year-olds) as a Year 9 student and won all 3 of her races!  There were 40 riders in each class. 

Congratulations on 1st place Overall !!! 

Out of approximately 30 schools with students in attendance, and because of Mikayla's outstanding solo results, she managed to gain Taupo-nui-a-Tia College 10th place overall. Mikayla has now set herself the goal to compete in Australia next year. We can't wait to see how she goes!
