Our 1st XI Boys Hockey Team finished round 1 in the BOP A grade with a 3rd place position. After winning the Div 2 Intercity last year, they will continue their season in the Intercity Div 1 Competition. Playing Rankin Cup teams such as Tauranga Boys College, Hamilton Boys High School and Ruamata, our team, with 7 new players, will have to battle hard but they will also be up to the challenge! The high spirit of the team, in combination with their commitment in training, has brought them to a competitive level in only 5 games! They've had wins against Whakatane High School, Trident Highschool, and Rotorua Lakes High School, and a narrow loss against Ruamata (1-0). Great stuff!
