Rock-climbing News

Last Friday, a group of 10 students competed in the Bay of Plenty Secondary Schools Rockclimbing Competition.

The climbers completed a number of disciplines including speed climbing, top rope, and bouldering.  They had to call on their speed, endurance, technical skills, and creativity in their climbing while navigating challenging routes.

Congratulations go to Tristan Hayter for finishing in 3rd place overall for the Year 9-10 boys.

Well done to all our athletes:

Jade Hasse, Thomson Farmer, Nick Ross, Solal Mourot, George Simpson, Luca Tinworth, Paige Cameron, Merrily Sowerby, and our Tauhara College friends.

A huge thank you to Michelle Crowe for transporting all our students
