Our Year 10 extension PE classes headed to Mt Maunganui for the annual Beach Educational Day. The students participated in focused workshops on water safety, as well as learning essential surf lifesaving skills. With a tour of the surf club, students had the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the specialist equipment used. The students enjoyed their time in the water as well as on the beach and in the classroom.
