Sailors from Taupo nui-a-Tia College combined with other schools to enter as Central North Island Combined Team at the recent SS Sailing Nationals. Despite only meeting 3 of their team members the night before sailing together, the team really rose to the challenge and competed well. They sailed in the Bronze Fleet where they showed great sportspersonship and enjoyed their week.  They had a good win which was against the actual team who won Bronze!

Congratulations to Cooper Beresford, Sally Clarke, and George Simpson on a fantastic week away. It was great to see your Cornerstone Values shining through!
