Another cracking win for our football girls this week! Hosting the hometown derby against the Tauhara #1 Team, it was a tough tussle until the end. A quick goal from Maggie Putt early in the game put us ahead but Tauhara equalised in the next play. Player of the Day, Alex Milne, then put Nui up 2-1. Converting a penalty, Cassidy Thaker increased the lead to go 3-1 up. In the second half of the game, the Tauhara girls dominated play with the only goal of that half. When the final whistle blew, Nui took the win 3-2. Well done girls, you are having a fantastic season!
