The Girls 2nd XI Hockey Team represented Taupo-Nui-a-Tia with pride at the recent Tournament Week in Gisborne!!! The tournament was a huge success for both the team and individual players. The girls showed enormous strength and courage in a tournament where they were the most junior team by a significant amount. The team continuously received accolades from opposition management and tournament officials for their sportsmanship, determination, and unity and for never losing their competitive drive until after the final whistle, no matter the score. Well done girls! This was a great way to end a successful season. A HUGE thank you to Toby Officer and Jared Nicholson for taking these girls away and creating long-lasting memories!!!
